Blood Donation by Madurai school students 

Give blood, give life is something we often hear.  The children at Queen Mira International School, Kochadi, Madurai, showed that age is no bar when it comes to saving a precious life. A blood donation awareness rally organised at the school recently was an initiative to inculcate a sense of individual social responsibility in the students. 

Sujatha Gupta, Principal at Queen Mira International School, underscored the importance of conducting such social drives on campus saying, “Our focus is in raising children with the right sense of social values.A rally was also  held in collaboration with doctors at the Meenakshi Mission Hospital, Madurai .
